On 13 October Nairobi Water announced a shutdown of about 24 hours on the same pipeline, also for emergency repairs.

Nairobi Water lists a customer hotline on its website at +254 724 253 582.

"We appeal to our customers for indulgence and urge them to use their available water sparingly," the company said in the notice.
