Dying Need No Shoes (KITFest)
A Kenyan family drama about buried secrets, abuse and the cost of silence, with four performances from 6 to 14 November.
About the event
Purity Munanda finds herself trapped in a room with her father, Professor Jairus Munanda, and years of silence, fear and buried trauma come to the surface as dark family secrets are exposed. The drama explores the effects of abuse, the search for justice and the resilience of the human spirit, and challenges audiences to reflect on the cost of silence.
