A family drama in English and Kiswahili about two estranged sons and the ghost of a football legend, on the night a stadium is renamed.

About the event

On the night Kasarani Stadium is renamed for the legendary footballer Musa 'Baba' Muthee, his estranged sons Tom and Johnnie argue over how he should be remembered. Johnnie, an investigative journalist, holds evidence of a match-fixing scandal; Tom believes the truth is more complicated.

When their father's ghost appears in the locker room beneath the stadium, the brothers confront the man behind the myth. The play is a contemporary Kenyan drama with elements of magical realism and memory theatre, performed in English and Kiswahili as part of KITFest.
