Kenyan researchers launch antibiotic trial for malnourished children with diarrhoea
The Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and Amsterdam UMC have launched a trial comparing azithromycin and ciprofloxacin with a placebo in about 2,800 malnourished children with diarrhoea in Kenya and Tanzania, KEMRI said on 23 October 2026. There are no results yet.
