Gabon's media regulator lifts social media suspension in force since 17 February
Gabon's media regulator, the HAC, lifted its nationwide social media suspension on 24 October 2026, saying it now has access to the reporting tools of Meta, TikTok and YouTube to remove illegal content in real time.
