SEPCOIII upgrades KenGen's Olkaria I geothermal plant in Kenya from 45 MW to 63 MW
Chinese contractor SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction has upgraded all three units of KenGen's Olkaria I geothermal plant in Kenya's Hell's Gate National Park, raising its capacity from 45 MW to 63 MW, Xinhua reported on 28 October. Xinhua calls Olkaria I Africa's first geothermal power station.
