Audit finds Kenyatta National Hospital emergency unit short of 16 ventilators
The Auditor-General's report on Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi for the year to 30 June 2025 lists a deficit of 16 ventilators and 12 advanced ICU beds in its emergency department; the hospital's chief executive cited its 32 equipped theatres, The Star reported on 20 October 2026.
