About the event
Marafiki Arts Festival is a festival of dance, music, theatre and other performing arts organised by ASEDEVA (Art for Social and Economic Development in Africa). The programme includes live music, contemporary and traditional dance, theatre and cultural performances, with food, drinks and vendor exhibitions.
The opening evening is on 8 October at Slow Leopard in Masaki, Dar es Salaam. The festival moves to Nafasi Art Space in Mikocheni on 9 and 10 October, and the grand finale is at Firefly in Bagamoyo on 11 October.
