Kenya's draft 2027 budget statement: KSh 1,917.6bn for debt, deficit KSh 1,352.9bn
Kenya's National Treasury, in its Draft 2027 Budget Policy Statement, puts public debt costs for 2027/28 at KSh 1,917.6 billion and the fiscal deficit at KSh 1,352.9 billion; the statement is scheduled to go to Parliament by 16 November 2026.
