14 arrested in Nairobi raid on suspected fake gold and dollars as recent Kenyan cases show fees and forged papers
Fourteen people, three of them police officers, were arrested in Nairobi on 1 October after the DCI searched a warehouse holding suspected fake gold bars and counterfeit US$100 notes. In other recent cases, victims paid storage, insurance and other fees for gold that never arrived.
