Uganda opens Shs191bn Katonga Bridge rebuilt by China Communications Construction Company
Uganda's Minister for Works and Transport, Fred Byamukama, commissioned the rebuilt Katonga Bridge on the Kampala–Masaka highway on 17 October 2026, replacing the bridge washed away in May 2023, the Daily Monitor reported.
