Kenya plans remdesivir for Ebola patients; Uganda case report did not show the drug caused recoveries
Kenya's Director General for Health Patrick Amoth said on 18 October the ministry hoped to start giving remdesivir to Ebola patients under compassionate use the next day; a US CDC report on 18 patients treated in Uganda who all received the drug did not establish whether it caused their recovery, Business Daily reported on 19 October.
