Tanzania's imports rise 21.4% to US$21.27bn in 12 months to August, central bank data show
Tanzania's imports of goods and services rose 21.4% to US$21,269.2 million in the year to August 2026, largely on intermediate and capital goods, the Bank of Tanzania said in its Monthly Economic Review for September 2026.
