Visitors to Kenya must buy local health cover even if insured at home, FAQ says
Foreign visitors to Kenya must buy the government-designated health cover even if they hold travel insurance from home, while Kenyan residents, EAC citizens and children under three are exempt, according to a Kenya Tourism Board FAQ reported by the African Travel and Tourism Association (ATTA) on 13 October 2026.
